It is the folk occasion performed
in the last day of the year in Akita prefecture in Japan.
They (Namahage) put on the side of the demon
and call at each house by the largeness appearance.
They give a threat to children by shouts like these,
"Are there bad kids in this house ?"
"Are there crying kids in this house ?"
This event is performed to bring good luck to residents
in that house after a crime was scolded.
They must entertain Namahage politely to reform a crime
of this year, and sees Namahage off for the purpose
of making a crime dispersed after that.
