He is the last general in the Shogunate Government of Edo
which was in Japan 150 years ago.
His political competence is unknown quantity.
It is because a reign period of his general was too short.
Anyway when his achievements is mentioned,
it is that Shogunate Government of Edo has been brought to an end
without doing political intervention of foreign countries.
And it id that Edo-jo (Edo Castle) was surrendered to a new government
without taking out sacrifice of much general citizen.

His political activity is that he became a member of
the House of Lords （kizoku-in）as koushaku (duke).
He lives long most in the generals in Shogunate Government of Edo.
He has ended his life by 77 years old.
